Rev. Nancy L. Collins
Rev. Buffy St. John-Stensrud is my friend. As for ministry to women, Buffy is especially gifted. As a Spirit-led woman of God, she is able to bring her background to bear on issues faced by many women in America. They are always greatly encouraged to know that they too, can come from a place away from God into a position of service for Jesus Christ. Her witness, prayers, and music bless the entire congregation.
I recommend her as a preacher, singer, counselor, and teacher of the word. In conferences dedicated to meeting the specific needs of women, the participants will be blessed.
Chrystine McBrayer
My husband, Donald, and myself, Church of God assigned full time missionaries for 20 years, Wycliffe Bible Translators trained and seconded to SIL in both Kenya and Cote d, Ivoire, currently serving in Ecuador, are delighted to endorse the ministries of Buffy St. John.
I enjoyed the powerful ministry of Rev. St. John in Quito of Santiago, Ecuador, during a 4 day conference in 2002, and was awed by her powerful messages. She is an effective Bible teacher, electrifying singer and amazing prophetess. She is tireless in her ministry and will stay with it as long as prayer, intercession or counseling is needed.
After the QDS Conference, we were thrilled Buffy took time out of a crowded schedule to visit in our home in Ambato, Ecuador. She served selflessly during that time. With much wisdom she counseled a young neighbor couple who pastor a local church and were on the verge of quitting because they had just had their first pregnancy end in the baby being stillborn. Buffy intervened and reminded them of God's plan for their good and they hung in there. They have a healthy baby girl now and are more involved than ever in the church. Buffy packed in two services and a youth program on top of the counseling sessions. She was incredibly successful. We count it an honor to be her friend. |
