Mindanao-Philippines:
What can I say about Mindanao? I don't have the space to tell of all that the Lord did while we were there. We ministered to thousands of youth and saw the mighty hand of God reach out to these hungry youth and lift them out of their despair.
The first week, was a whirlwind of ministry as we conducted leadership seminars for Pastors from all parts of Mindanao and other islands during the day and camp revival meetings at night.
The youth were in seminars during the day as well and we experienced first hand GodÂ’s deliverance, salvation, restoration, and His love for His humanity.
The second week of ministry; we went out into the mountain regions as my desire was to minister to the Muslims. Many were converted , healed and delivered. I found Satanism to be a very big part of the mountain tribal people and the Spiritual battle raged on, but greater is HE that is in us than he that is out in the world. Victory! From there we went into the ghetto areas and ministered as 40 people a night gave their hearts to the Lord. People were healed, delivered and set free. On the last night of the ghetto visits unbeknownst to me we were in a drug lord infested area. That night 8 drug lords and addicts gave their hearts to the Lord Jesus Christ. What joy and rejoicing as I welcomed them to the family of Jesus Christ!

GROUNDBREAKING ON THE 14 and 3/4 ACRES OF LAND FOR THE PRAYER MOUNTAIN
The third week of ministry, we went into the mountains and viewed Canaan. The Lord had spoken to me that Declare The Word would purchase land to continue this ministry in Mindanao. We purchased 14 acres to be used for agriculture, a Bible school, dormitories, homes, medical clinic, a K-12 school, prayer mountain and missionary quarters. A Volkswagen car was also purchased for transportation. This was all donated to the Pacleb family for their continuing ministry in Mindanao. This family escaped barely with their lives from the terrorists a few years ago. They have a heart for the Gospel and for children. They have adopted 7 more children in addition to the seven they already have.
As a family they work tirelessly to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. I saw three adults share one fried egg and my heart broke. Consequently, Declare The Word stepped in and their next to the oldest daughter Jeyl will graduate from college as her tuition has now been paid. She will be the first teacher this mission site will have. The youngest daughter Faith, has aspiration of becoming a nurse.
The goal is to have a self sufficient mission field that is provided food, income and resources from the land. As they train pastors for other remote areas, these pastors will be trained not only in the Bible, but they will be trained in agriculture, education, medical and everything that will be needed to assist their people in the villages from where they come from.
As part of their training each bible student will also learn how to work the land and what is necessary to prepare produce and products for market. We have a lot of work to do and funds are needed, but God always makes a provision for the vision. Keep this in prayer!
